03 — The universal connector
The draft is right because it saw the real numbers.
A follow-up is only worth sending if the figures in it are the ones on the screen. REDACT reads what's in front of you the way you do — the internal tool with no API, the CRM nobody will hand you a token for, the dashboard on someone else's screenshare, the VDI. So the draft quotes your actual quarter, not a plausible-sounding one. The screen is the connector: nothing to install, no admin OAuth, no IT ticket.
Anything that needs an integration
It can only write from the systems it was wired into — which means admin OAuth, an IT-blessed connector list, a data-residency review. Whatever isn't plumbed in, it guesses at or leaves out.

05 — Why this exists
I built this because my own laptop wouldn't do it.
My employer gives me Copilot with transcription switched off — policy, not a setting anyone can flip. So the most useful thing in any meeting, the record of what was actually said, is the one thing I can't have. I ended up paying for a note-taker out of my own pocket, and then spending evenings pasting its transcripts into an AI to write the follow-ups I'd promised people that morning. REDACT is that evening, deleted.
